What we can and cannot remove

AnimeAether stores catalogue metadata (titles, synopses, episode lists, artwork) and links to players operated by third parties. We can remove a title or an episode from this site, and we do so on a valid notice.

We cannot remove the underlying video, because it is not ours and is not here. That requires a notice to the provider actually hosting the file. We will identify the provider for a specific episode on request so the notice can be directed correctly.

Sending a notice

Send it to support@animeaether.online with "DMCA" in the subject line. To be actionable it must include:

• Identification of the work you claim is infringed.
• The exact URL or URLs on this site you want removed: a title page, or specific episode pages. A request naming only a series cannot be actioned reliably.
• Your name, organisation, and contact details.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices are actioned promptly. A removed title returns HTTP 410 Gone rather than a generic not-found response, which is the correct signal and gets it out of search engine indexes in days rather than months.

We keep a record of notices received and actions taken.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed in error, write to support@animeaether.online with the URL, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury explaining the basis for the belief.

Repeat infringement

Accounts and sources associated with repeated valid notices are removed from the service.
