The story begins when Aki, who has no memories of the world before its fall, escapes her village with her close friends Haru and Natsuki to search for her missing father. As they venture into the outside world, they find themselves surrounded by zombies on all sides! Along the way, they rescue Yuu and Sakura and take refuge in a home improvement store.
